| Dear Elks, Dear ELKS, the month of April has been filled with a lot of activities. First I would like to thank the PERs, family and friends that the attended the Officer Installation. We had a great dinner and dance that night. I would also like to thank Michael Romero and the members that helped with the Easter egg hunt. This month we also brought Santa Fe lodge#460 in for a lodge versus lodge billiards tournament. Mr. Castillano from Santa Fe took the tournament with our member Pat Gutierrez taking second. The birthday parties were a hit as usual. Thanks, Pat and the members that helped put it on. We have activities set up for the month of May; first we are having Cinco de Mayo on Sat-urday May 5th. Following that is the scholarship banquet May 7th at the Night Owl starting @ 6:00pm. Mother’s Day is right around the corner. We are having the Mother’ s day breakfast May 13th from 8am-12am. Mother eat free everyone else has to pay $5.00. With all of this we have the birthdays lined up for May 19th. The Cerebral Palsy tickets are be-ing sent out this month. Please read the CP flyer on the back of the calendar that you will receive in the mail. This flyer will explain what the tickets are for, how much they cost and when they are due. The per capita for CP is $10.00 per elk so please help out by sell-ing or buying them; remember first place in the raffle is $20,000 dollars. In closing, I would like to remind everyone that without the help of members we can’t get the stuff we need done.
